Summer 2019

Hello and Happy Summer,

I am enjoying an amazing start to summer with a great lineup of gigs throughout Wisconsin, but mostly in Door County, WI (called the Cape Cod of the mid-west).

Surrounded by water it is a lovely place to be.

I recently completely composing the soundtrack for a documentary film entitled My First And Last Film, by Tracey Thomas. It was an incredible project to create musical scenes for. It began as a film about Tracey and partner Dennis interviewing people turning 60, but with the untimely death of Dennis to ALS, the project sat unfinished until Tracey realized it was time for some closure. Tracey contacted me last year as she was looking for a female blues artist to write the score. I am also especially inspired by the film especially since I’ll be turning 60 this November. The film is in the process of being released to film festivals. And I look forward to sharing with you as more information comes available,

My band The Troublemaker's will be making our 3rd year appearance at the amazing Summerfest in Milwaukee. The biggest music Festival in the world. This year we will be on the BMO Harris Pavilion stage July 6th 4-5:30 pm

Besides some fun and funky (groovy) gigs, I am preparing for my first concert at the wonderful Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek, WI on September 14th 7pm Click here for info and tickets. I am honored to be part of their summer line-up of artists that includes Mavis Staples, Amos Lee and Shemekia Copeland to name a few.

Here's hoping you are enjoying a beautiful summer.

Feel free to keep in touch.

Warm Wishes to all,
