who are The Troublemakers?
2024 Troublemaker’s Band roster:
Hans Christian: Bass, Cello (Sturgeon Bay, Germany), a 2024 Grammy nominee composer, producer and performer who has recorded and performed with an illustrious crowd, including Robbie Robertson, John Waite, Sparks, Krishna Das and many others. Hans owns and operates STUDIO 330 in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
Jamey Clark: Drums (Sturgeon Bay) has been in trouble pretty much his entire life. He’s managed to find trouble with the likes of pAt MacDonald, Eric McFadden, Jane Wiedlin (the Go Go’s), Clyde Stubblefield ( the original funky drummer), W.C. Clark, Chris Aaron, Rev. Rob Atwood & thy Dirty Deuce.
Deirdre Fellner: Supporting Vocals (Sturgeon Bay, formerly Milwaukee), an award winning vocalist, songwriter, and recording artist, ‘Deirdre’s vocals inspire; they either make your spine tingle or make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.’ Deirdre grew up in Door County and has been writing, performing, and trouble-making since she could count to four. Based for many years in Milwaukee, Deirdre has performed her riveting blend of jazz, soul and blues throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest, and is a two time WAMI Female Vocalist of the Year award winner.
Mike Fordney: guitar, (Baileys Harbor), Founding member Fordney Bros Band with brother Ted, Tom Chermak and Mark Longacre. Mike has been more musically active since retirement in 2018 playing occasionally with Cathy Grier, the Fordney Bros. Band/ Fryin’ Keilbasa Bros including several Metrojam performances, and with Six String Therapy at the Bryan Lee Blues Festival in Two Rivers.
Depending on the gig, we might have the a horn section:
The Power Tool Horns (Green Bay area), have been with Big Mouth for 30+ years. Over 100 years of combined teaching experience between them, teaching either middle school or high school band as their full time jobs. Besides playing with the Power Tool Horns, members of the horn section have played with The Temptations, The Four Tops, Aretha Franklin, Wisconsin Jazz Orchestra and Alive Again. “We are honored to share the stage with Cathy Grier and the Troublemakers.”
