presents ‘THE BIG PLANT CONCERT’ A Musical Celebration of Nature

DOOR COMMUNITY AUDITORIUM, FISH CREEK


You are invited to the Door Community Auditorium for a night of music, reflection, and art presented by the renowned Colin & Friends Concerts with their special guest, Parker Drew, acclaimed nationwide for his extraordinary one-man portrayal of Mark Twain.

Other wonderful musicians from Door County and beyond will join us to play beautiful, fun, and inspiring music related to our theme of the beauty and power of nature - including Cathy Grier (celebrated singer and Blues guitarist), Sal Stein (violin), Char Bogda (violin), Stuart Sutter (oboe), David Bell (Clarinet) and members of the Gibraltar School’s Ecology Clubs.

Before the show, you’re invited to participate in the creation of an exciting, larger-than-life community art installation inspired by nature in the lobby. 

In partnership with the Climate Change Coalition of Door County, all attendees will be invited to take home and plant a FREE Door County native white pine tree.

Parker Drew - as Mark Twain 
Parker is a seasoned performer, musician and broadcaster, known for his long-running one-man show Mark Twain Revisited, which has toured nationally with over 500 performances. With a background in classical music, theater, and television, Parker has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Montreux Jazz Festival, and on PBS. He’s also well-known in Wisconsin as a longtime radio and TV personality, including 13 years as host of the Wisconsin Lottery.
