Retracing CD
"Retracing", takes the listener on an
eclectic trip through Ms. Grier's complex lyrical writing, while
mixing a blend of love, hurt, activism and optimism. Her musical
style borrows from Blues, Cajun, Pop, Funk, Reggae, and Jazz. As
producer, she created an atmosphere that has no slick production
intention, with most of the tracks recorded live, the songs have a
raw personal sound.
